Administrator posting for OMYSA



The Okanagan Mission Youth Soccer Association (OMYSA) in Kelowna is looking for a part time Administrator to help run our club.  OMYSA is a non-profit organization that is focused on fostering player development and a life long love of soccer for our community’s youth.  The Administrator works year round with busy times from January to April when we prepare to start up the soccer season.   There will be some months where the working hours will be minimal and others where the hours will be heavier due to the time of season.

 In an Administrator, we are looking for the following attributes:

 Ability to respond to all club enquiries in a positive, timely and professional manner

  • Highly organized and self directed
  • Willing to take direction from the Board of Directors but able to operate independently
  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Word & Excel
  • Bookkeeping experience is an asset but not a requirement for the position

 The role of the Administrator is to support the Board and Chair members as needed in their duties, and to act as the club’s “front line” via email and telephone interaction with our community members (parents, coaches, etc.).  This is a work from home position, a laptop will be provided.  Remuneration is based on an annual projected part time commitment, $18,000-$24,000 per year dependent on experience and duties assigned at the time of hiring.  Proposed start date is January 8, 2018.
