| The Central Okanagan Youth Soccer Association (COYSA) is the District that covers the Central Okanagan between Peachland and Lake Country for youth players as defined by our governing body, the BC Soccer Association.
In the year of 2011 we have just under 4,900 players participating in our outdoor soccer programs.
We have 6 Clubs within our District, each handling their own registrations. Players register in the Club that is in the area they live in with the exception of players participating in our Kelowna United Club. Kelowna United is our rep Club and tryouts for their teams are traditionally held in September. Kelowna United is also the group that puts on camps, academies and various courses. All Club websites are on the main page of our website.
For the 5 house Clubs, teams play against teams from the 5 different areas of town: Westside, Lake Country, Rutland, Mission and Kelowna. Registration is traditionally held in January with the season running from mid April when the fields open until the end of June, taking July and August off, returning for a month after the Labor Day weekend to finish off the season.
Due to the limited indoor field space, our indoor program can only register 1,000 players. The indoor season runs from about the third week of October until Spring Break, taking time off during the Christmas holidays. Registration is traditionally in mid August. Families print off the registraiton form and drop it off at the COYSA office.
