Active Start Soccerfest (Mini Jamboree)

We are pleased to announce that Soccer Canada is once sponsoring our Mini Jamboree.

The Active Start Soccerfest (Mini Jamboree) is held annually at the end of the outdoor season on the weekend before Thanksgiving for all the U7 to U10 teams. The Clubs take turns running this Jamboree.

For 2022 the annual year-end windup U7-10 Mini Jamboree will be held in Lake Country on October 01 and 02. All teams participate and will play two games on one of the days as noted below (game times will be different than the regular season). Players will be provided with lunch and a medal. Games are modified from regular season and ALL will be 2 halves of 20 minutes. U7/U8 will play one game of 6v6 and U9/10 will play 7v7. We recognize that there may be conflicts for some of our coaches and in those instances, another coach or parent will need to step up to help you. If no one is willing, please contact your Club for support.

Your team number for Canada Soccer's Active Start Soccer Fest (Mini Jamboree 'MJ') is different than the one on the season schedule. Click on the link below and then look at the schedule link to find the TWO time slots that your games will be played.

Unfortunately for some that coach two teams there may be a conflict where games are at the same - in this instance an assistant coach or another parent will have to cover for that game. Games will not be rescheduled.

All teams play two games on one day.  All games are 2 halves of 20 minutes each. U7 & U8 will play 6v6 with one game instead of the season's usual 4v4 with two games played simultaneously. U9 & U10 will play 7v7.

Lunch and participation medals are provided for all players and the Head Coach. Head Coaches need to check in at the Information Booth before their first game to pick up their team envelope which will include medals, meal tickets and any other tournament information.
