Indoor Game suspension extended

Nothing saddens us more than the suspension of our indoor program. We are volunteers who have a passion for the game and dedicate our time to bringing an affordable soccer experience to the kids of the Central Okanagan. That being said, as a non-profit association we are bound by the provincial health orders. We are hoping this will be a small blip in our programming.

JANUARY 7, 2021 UPDATE: SUSPENSION EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 5, 2021 BY THE GOVERNMENT - Our Indoor Committee is meeting with the COYSA Board to decide on the next steps and everyone will be notified once a decision has been made.

Further to the latest announcements by various governing bodies (links below) and the information we’ve received from the facility, unfortunately our indoor league is now suspended up to and including January 08, 2021, barring any lifting of restrictions by the Provincial Health Authority.

With the hope that we will be able to resume play January 09th, we’ve been able to secure some additional field time at the end of the current schedule. Once we are able to play games again, an updated schedule will be sent.

If restrictions carry on into the new year, we will review the possibility of offering some sort of fee reimbursement. All indications at this point in time, from senior health officials and viaSport, indicate a return to play as soon as possible. Sport plays a vital role in the health and mental well being of our children.
